Ohio Psychological Association

The Ohio Psychological Association (OPA) is one of the largest and most innovative state psychological associations. Founded in 1949, OPA was the first state psychological association to have a paid employee to direct our advocacy, marketing and educational work. Their mission is to advance the creation, communication and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and to improve people’s lives in Ohio.

OPA serves its member psychologists by advocating for their interests and for the people they help by providing access to high quality science-based educational programs, by breaking down the boundaries that limit access to treatment, and by fighting for stronger regulation against health insurance companies who benefit from bureaucracies that siphon off money from the healthcare system and delay payment for services.

The Trust is proud to recognize the OPA as a valued participant in our State Endorsement Program. Providing support to state associations and their members is important to us at The Trust.

Through this partnership, OPA benefits from funding provided by The Trust for continuing education, while members get access to a library of on-demand webinars, state-sponsored workshops, and a variety of insurance programs.
